There are some songs that are so great that they must be covered again and over. By the same individual twice in less than a year, though? Of course, when that guy is Andrea Bocelli, he can do almost anything he wants.
The song in question is “Perfect,” which was much praised when it was released as part of Ed Sheeran’s 2017 album “Divide.”It was so flawless that he collaborated with the well-known Italian singer on an orchestral rendition of the song, titled “Perfect Symphony,” which was published before the holidays.

After collaborating with one of the biggest singers in the world, Andrea wanted to bring it home by performing the song with his progeny, son and fellow singer Matteo. He’s equally talented and – not that this has anything to do with anything – rather easy on the eyes. (Fans of either of these two probably already know “Fall On Me”is also a father-son duet on Andrea’s latest album, “SÃ.â€)
This latest duet came during a recent appearance on the BBC’s “Ken Bruce Show.”21-year-old Matteo takes the first part of the song, crooning the love ballad in English as his father proudly listens on – although he seems, especially when he gently places a hand on his son’s shoulder, almost impatient to take over!

And he finally does, about halfway through, singing in the voice we’ve all come to know and love, as passionately in his native Italian as Matteo’s is in English…

They almost come together toward the end, both alternating their lines in Italian, then their voices finally merge as one in the final lines, with a sonorous show of power that will leave fans screaming for more.
This father-son team is one classy act and they’ve definitely done Ed Sheeran proud. Listen to this beautiful song sung as only the Bocellis can, and share to spread their talent!
