A new betting favorite has emerged to land Tennessee Titans superstar running back Derrick Henry in free agency next month.

The Titans are not expected to retain the two-time rushing champion, who just played out the last of a four-year deal he signed in the 2020 offseason. Henry even said goodbye to Titans fans following their Week 18 regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to the DraftKings sportsbook, Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens are the overwhelming betting favorites at +175 to land the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year. The Dallas Cowboys are a distant second on that list at +550, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles at +650.

The Ravens have consistently churned out one of the NFL’s very best rushing offenses in the Jackson-John Harbaugh era. Without a doubt, they could use a potential future Hall of Famer like Henry to bolster an already prolific offense.

Though most running backs tend to decline before the age of 30 in today’s era of football, Henry showed zero signs of slowing down in 2023. He finished with 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns, with only Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers tallying more yards no the ground.

And Henry should be keen on playing for a Super Bowl contender after his Titans missed the playoffs in back-to-back years. Add it all up, and the Ravens just feel like the perfect landing spot for the superstar RB.
