The wife of Will Smith has been living away from him since 2017
Jada Pinkett Smith is reportedly lining up a shot at Tom Cruise as she looks for her next Hollywood romance after revealing that her relationship with Will Smith has broken down.
In a bombshell announcement in October, she said that they have been living separate lives for years and that when Will Smith hit Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars ceremony, it was the first time he had called her his wife for a long time.
Later reports suggested that Pinkett Smith was looking to line-up another star in the celebrity-sphere in order to remain relevant, and it appears that she’s gunning for the ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Mission Impossible’ lead Tom Cruise.
“Jada has always raved about Tom being a true genius as well as one of the finest looking men she ever laid eyes on,” a source said to the National Enquirer. “They have a really strong bond, but the timing’s never been right for romance.”
“But now that she and Will‘s split is out in the open and Tom‘s looking for a new leading lady, it makes a lot of sense.”

Cruise and Pinkett Smith: An unlikely combination?
How many would’ve anticipated the pair of them linking-up? Perhaps it shouldn’t be that surprising as they have been friends for 20 years.
Cruise and the 52-year-old already have a rapport, connecting over scientology and way back in 2004 when they both acted in ‘Collateral’ together. Following the film, they’ve kept a close relationship and Pinkett Smith even said that Cruise encouraged her more than her husband.
“Surprisingly single Tom needs to find someone who’s supportive of his religion and not intimidated by his success – and Jada totally fits the bill,” a source told RadarOnline.com
“They also share a lot of the same interests, they’re both huge adrenaline junkies who love driving fast cars and motorcycles and skydiving.
“Tom is one of the few people who understands how she has to live her life because of her fame.”
