Scarlett Johansson, who is known for the superhero character Black Widow in the MCU, has managed to garner a dedicated fanbase and captivate the audience with her exceptional performances. However, the actress doesn’t just play a superhero on the silver screen; she does it in real life too. Johansson has joined Feeding America to address the issues of food insecurity, something she has experienced personally.

Scarlett Johansson Recalls Hardships Her Family Faced
Scarlett Johansson recalled that her family was dependent on public assistance to make sure they had enough food to eat. She also credits these meals to her early engagement with theater and art, which eventually sparked her passion for acting.
Scarlett Johnasson said (via CNN):
“My family relied on public assistance to help provide meals for us. These meals fueled my involvement in theater and the arts as a child, which fostered my love for acting. Food isn’t just fuel to live — it’s fuel to grow.”

In a post on the organization’s blog, Johansson wrote that she and her brother were “normal kids” who went to public school and always liked having the hot, free lunches they got there.
Johansson wrote in a blog post:
“Back then, I didn’t even think twice about the food we ate – I was just happy at school, learning, being a kid. Now, as an adult, I have a tremendous amount of gratitude for those meals. My family relied on public assistance, and the meals I ate at school were part of the free school lunch program – which provides free breakfast and lunch to students from low-income families.”
Feeding America is a widespread network of food banks and community-based organizations across the US that aims to fight hunger by offering food assistance to the millions in need.

However, according to Culture Crave, Kevin Feige has responded to these speculations, confirming the existence of a secret project in the works. But he also clarified that the project isn’t related to Black Widow. This means that the chances of Johansson returning to the MCU are pretty slim.
While Kevin Feige hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of Johansson’s return, it’s still uncertain whether the actress will reprise her role. Besides, after her legal issues with the studio, it seems unlikely that fans will see this collaboration again.
