Cardi B and her husband Offset reside in a gigantic 22,000 square foot house that redefines what it means to be opulent. That doesn’t make it flood-proof, though, as Hurricane Ida recently caused damage to the opulent home.
We don’t know how much the couple ultimately paid for the enormous house, but we do know that it had a whopping $5.79 mιllιon price tag when it was listed for sale, despite the fact that its European-inspired architecture, opulent interiors, and long list of amenities give it the appearance of being three times as expensive.
The mansion, which is situated on a sizable 6-acre private estate, has 5 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 4 half baths, an 1800-bottle wine cellar, and even an underground shooting range! A shooting range, indeed!
You can tell the estate was planned with privacy in mind because it is surrounded by trees and hedges in the European style. Although it was constructed in 2006, the large doors, open floor plan, and tall columns with ornate designs transport you back in time and contrast sharply with the sleek, contemporary homes of her fellow recording artists.
The house also has a garage with a capacity of 4 automobiles, though it appears to have room for more. After their long search for the ideal home, it is easy to understand why this three-story house caught both Cardi B. and Offset’s attention.
As soon as you pass the grand entryway, you are welcomed by a foyer with an expansive corridor leading to the 22,500 square foot house. A grand chandelier and a chic winding staircase strike the ideal balance between a cozy and welcoming house and a royal palace.
A spacious living room that almost seems like it was created as the backdrop for one of Cardi’s opulent music videos has full-length Juliet balconies and overlooks the tranquil backyard.
The lavishness of the home extends throughout. The master bedroom’s vaulted ceilings, separate lounge area with fireplace, and spa-like en-suite master bathroom give it the appearance of a seven-star resort suite.
The area widens up into immaculately kept lawns that lead to the heavily forested environs, providing the privacy you’d want if paparazzi were following your every step. There is also a sizable rear porch that provides grand views of the entire property and looks out onto the pool.
Cardi B’s home sustained damage as a result of Hurricane Ida, which made landfall in Georgia at the end of August. The artist posted a video of the water damage to her home caused by the northeastern storm on Instagram. In the star’s video, water was seen dripping into her house and collecting in a corridor. When Cardi B followed the path of water damage, she found that her bathroom had partially flooded.
