Taylor Swift is an ardent supporter of the LGBTQIA community. She is empathetic and has always raised her voice for her fans who belong to this community. Still, many Swifties who are from the LGBTQIA community are a bit upset with the singer. The United States of America has been introducing many laws against the LGBTQIA community which has sparked outrage amongst them.
Swift is currently performing in her Eras tour in many states in the country, including Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. These states are also the states which have introduced Anti-LGBTQIA laws. As Swift has always promised to advocate for and support the community, many people think she could have stood against these laws and spoken regarding them.
Some Swifties said that she is not a politician and they think it is not her job to speak out all the time. She has always been a supporter of the community, but this expectation from Swift is unnecessary. The Red singer has not yet come out with a statement on this.

Swift has always been very vocal about her support and love for the people of the LGBTQIA community. In 2019, Swift requested her fans to raise their voices for the people of the Queer community. She requested all her fans to come out together and help the community to get equal rights in the country. In her statement Swift said,
“While we have so much to celebrate, we also have a great distance to go before everyone in this country is truly treated equally. Our country’s lack of protection for its own citizens ensures that LGBTQ people must live in fear that their lives could be turned upside down by an employer or landlord who is homophobic or transphobic.”
She further added,
“The fact that, legally, some people are completely at the mercy of the hatred and bigotry of others is disgusting and unacceptable,” she added. “Let’s show our pride by demanding that, on a national level, our laws truly treat all of our citizens equally.”
Taylor Swift also mentioned the LGBTQIA community when she won the Icon Award at the Attitude Awards. She thanked all her Swifties who were from the LGBTQIA community.
