Simone Biles’ coach, Cecile Landi, made it abundantly clear how she views the US gymnastics star after she dominated the 2024 Olympics.

Biles won four medals in the Paris Games, three of which were gold. The 27-year-old won the top prize in the team all-around, individual all-around and vault events, while finishing second in the floor exercise.

While Biles missed out on a medal in the balance beam after slipping from the apparatus, it was still an otherwise successful run for her. She now has a total of 11 medals in the Olympics, the most for any gymnast (men or women) in US history.

After her final event, her coach Cecile Landi took to Instagram to heap praise on the most decorated gymnast in the history of the sport. Aside from her current Olympic medal count, Biles also has 30 World Championship medals.

“GOAT,” Landi wrote, along with a photo of Biles wearing her four medals from the 2024 Olympics.

Sure enough, Simone Biles solidified her case as the greatest gymnast of all time with her incredible showing in Paris. There were some who doubted her after her Tokyo Olympics showing where she had to withdraw because of the twisties. But throughout this year’s Summer Games, she left no doubt in anyone’s mind about her greatness.

Her other coach and Cecile’s partner, Laurent Landi, previously called Biles an “alien” in the world of gymnastics. But true enough, she can be an “alien” and a “GOAT” at the same time.
