Simone Biles gave everything she had at the Paris Olympics — even after she felt her body starting to shut down.

The 27-year-old gymnast got honest about the rigors that the competition had on her body. In a TikTok video posted on August 6, Biles showed the preparations she went through to be a reserve for the uneven bars — one of the few events at the Paris Olympics where she did not directly compete.

In the video, which was filmed on Sunday, Biles admitted that she was reaching her physical limit.

“I am really tired,” Biles said. “I feel like my body is slowing starting to shut down, like, it’s ready to be done.”

At the time the video was filmed, Biles had already helped lead the United States to a gold in the team competition and took another gold in the all-around. She still had enough left in the tank to earn two more medals, winning gold in the vault on August 3 and silver in the floor exercise on August 5.
