Snoop Dogg shoots dollar bills at pole dancers on stage in Perth as the rapper performs his first Australian show since 2014

He is known for his extravagant performances, and hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg didn’t disappoint as he took to the stage in Perth on Monday night.

After three years of Covid-related delays, the California rapper finally brought his I Wanna Thank Me Tour to Australia – his first time performing Down Under since he headlined the Big Day Out festival in 2014.

His delightfully tacky stage show included several risqué pole dancers, water pistols, and cash canons that shot out dollar bills.

Snoop, who is known for his love of cannabis, opened his set at 9.30pm with a video of himself smoking a joint at his hotel and asking the crowd what he should wear.

The 12,000-strong crowd at RAC Arena was ecstatic to see Snoop finally perform songs from his seventeenth album, which was released pre-Covid in 2019 along with a documentary of the same name.
