Travis Kelce couldn’t attend the Grammys with Taylor Swift on Sunday night.

Oddly enough, Taylor Swift didn’t mention her boyfriend Travis Kelce during either of her Grammys 2024 acceptance speeches on Sunday night.

After Celine Dion announced that Swift’s “Midnights” had won Album of the Year, the shocked singer called BFF Antonoff a “once-in-a-generation producer” and collaborator Del Rey a “legend,” but she never mentioned her new love interest.
“All I want to do is keep being able to do this,” she said as she accepted the final trophy of the evening. “I love it so much. It makes me so happy.

“It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award, too. All I want to do is keep doing this.”

Fans took notice of this:

Travis Kelce was not in attendance for Swift’s win at the 2024 Grammys. The Chiefs tight end announced on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he wouldn’t be able to attend because of his pre-Super Bowl schedule.

At the same time the Grammys were going on, the Chiefs were in the air and landing in Las Vegas. Perhaps if the Chiefs hadn’t been in the Super Bowl, Kelce would have been a part of Swift’s entourage on Sunday.

Swift won two Grammys at the 2024 edition of the awards show. She took home Album of the Year and also Best Pop Vocal Album to bring her career total of Grammy wins up to 14. She was nominated for six awards in 2024 and is the only person to win Album of the Year four times.

Earlier in the evening, she announced her new album would be called “The Tortured Poets Department.”
