Travis Kelce has revealed he plans to meet with Hollywood producers after the football season is over and that he could make a move into acting in the future.

Speaking at a press conference in Las Vegas on Thursday, the Chiefs tight end was asked about meeting Hollywood executives and if he was best suited to comedy, drama or action roles.

‘Man, I’m comedy all the way,’ Kelce said. ‘I don’t know if I’m anything else. I just like to have a fun time and make people laugh.

‘I’ll dabble into everything though just to see if I have fun doing it. And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talks out there but I’ve been focused on football throughout the season so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it is all said and done.’

It comes after two of his managers told the New York Times in January that film scripts for Kelce had been shared among his representatives as his fame continues to rise thanks in part due to his relationship with Taylor Swift.

And Kelce told the Wall Street Journal in November that he loves films by the likes of Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler.

‘I told Taylor that I have that world, I’ve got to introduce it to her. I let her know: This is my jam right here,’ he said of his movie taste.

Kelce was told at Thursday’s media conference he got ‘great reviews’ for hosting Saturday Night Live in March.

‘I don’t know about great, but thank you,’ he said with a laugh.

As well as SNL, Kelce has starred in a vast number of commercials this year – ranging from Pfizer to Subway.

And he is clearly comfortable in front of the cameras – he has fielded questions all week ranging from the Super Bowl to his relationship with Swift and whether he plans to propose any time soon.

But two days out from the Super Bowl, Kelce did appear to be more of a focused figure when discussing Sunday’s game and less of the comedy figure he can pride himself on being.

He said that practice had got ‘chippy’ between the Chiefs offense and defense and relished the atmosphere in the Kansas City locker room.

‘There’s a lot of energy at practice, everybody’s focused and dialed in on their job at hand,’ the tight end said.

‘I’m not even gonna lie, things got a little bit chippy. I’m not gonna say between who, but the offensive and defensive lines are trying to get their work in, trying to make sure everybody’s ready for the game.

‘It just got me fired up yesterday, seeing everybody locked in and wanting to get their work in to make sure that everybody’s ready for the task at hand on Sunday. I just love the focus and the energy of the team right now.’
