NFL fans have officially gone into delirium after footage of Taylor Swift chatting with league Commissioner Roger Goodell in the Kelce family suite has gone viral ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, with conspiracy theorists debating what the pair were discussing.

Cameras focused on the pop star and 64-year-old businessman striking conversation at Allegiant Stadium – home of the Las Vegas Raiders – just hours after Swift flew into Sin City from her Eras Tour concert in Tokyo, Japan, earlier this weekend.

‘There we see Taylor Swift and Roger Goodell, up in the booth,’ CBS broadcaster Phil Simms said at first before referring to the $331million that the singer’s brought to the league since she started going to Chiefs games in September. ‘And Roger Goodell is going ”Thank you so much. I’m so glad for everything [you’ve done].”’

Fans echoed similar thoughts on X, formerly Twitter, in the buildup to Sunday night’s matchup between Kansas City and the San Francisco 49ers, as some guessed what Swift and Goodell talked about.

A fan shared a fictional quip from the NFL commissioner to Swift at the end of the game: ”’When Kelce catches the game winning touchdown we’ll escort you down to the field, but don’t run to him until the confetti flys.”’

Another user tweeted a dialogue, with Goodell saying at first: ‘Now Taylor, remember when Travis proposes we will bring his parents & your parents down on the field and your marriage happens on the 50 ok?’

‘Got it Roger, and we say we are the official NFL ambassadors,’ is Taylor’s response to Goodell’s request, as the user refers to a popular conspiracy theory that the singer’s relationship with Kelce is only a thing to boost the NFL’s popularity, TV ratings and finances.

Like Simms, another person on X joked that Swift and Goodell were discussing the hefty amount the pop star’s brought to the league this season, tweeting that the NFL’s sixth commissioner told her: ”Thanks for adding $500 million in revenues for the NFL.”

Other NFL fans on X suggested that ‘the fix is in’, now that Swift and Goodell have spoken, while others think they were ‘discussing the script,’ a.k.a that the Chiefs would win because of her attendance.

One NFL fan asked ‘what quarter is’ Swift ‘going to endorse Biden,’ referring to the singer’s history of backing the current U.S. President over Republican frontrunner and former President, Donald Trump.

Another X user pointed out that ‘who knew Goodell was such a Swifty,’ while another asked if the pair had been ‘discussing their combined carbon emissions.’

‘He is saying.. can you PLEASE CONSIDER DOING THE HALFTIME SHOW NEXT YEAR,’ said a different NFL fan, as she shared the same desire that many have for next year’s Super Bowl…that Swift performs at next year’s big game’s halftime show.

Preferably, by then, she will still be in love with Kelce.
