The Travis Kelce–Taylor Swift romance has garnered a lot of media attention. It also generated a lot of mixed reactions. Some have loved the pairing, others are a bit comprehensive. Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, have voiced their opinions on several occasions. One of those self-proclaimed Swiftie, Joy Behar, recently gave her take on the relationship.
The couple first created headlines when Swift attended Kelce’s and the Kansas City Chiefs‘ week 3 game against the Chicago Bears at the Arrowhead Stadium. They later left the stadium together after the Chiefs’ commanding win. Since then, Swift and Kelce have been reportedly going strong and the star tight end even attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Argentina last weekend. However, Kelce’s old tweets have resurfaced recently and Behar has let her feelings known about it.
Behar said after reading some of Kelce’s now-deleted tweets:
He’s illiterate is more to the point. He’s obsessed with the girls looking good, that was his thing.
When asked about why she cares about the tight end’s posts, Behar said:
I’m a Swiftie and I love her because she’s getting young people out to vote, so I don’t want her to be stuck with this idiot.
Kelce’s tweet can be considered demeaning towards women. He has since deleted those tweets. The Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Swift’s parents are expected to attend the game as her father has been a huge fan of the Eagles.
Taylor Swift to miss the Chiefs-Eagles game on Monday
Taylor Swift has attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games this season. She was expected to be at the Chiefs’ next game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, however, she postponed her Rio de Janeiro concert due to extreme heat – one day after a fan died prior to her concert on Friday. As a result of that she is set to miss the game on Monday.

Kelce attended Swift’s last concert in Argentina during the Chiefs’ bye week last weekend. They were spotted kissing after the show, confirming their relationship. Swift’s parents were set to meet Kelce’s parents during the game on Monday. However, that plan might change with Swift’s absence from the game.
The Chiefs have won 7 out of their 9 games this season. Kelce and company have had a tremendous season and are looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions. The Eagles are 8-1 and are looking to reach the Super Bowl again this season.
