Reese is joining Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier’s 3-on-3 “Unrivaled” league.
Angel Reese seems to be everywhere at the moment. Following a high-profile collegiate career at LSU, Reese made a splash as the 7th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and subsequently made the All-Star Game as a rookie.
In that game, she was one of the main storylines, particularly because it was the first time she and fellow rookie Caitlin Clark played for the same team. The two enjoyed a lengthy and contentious rivalry during their college days, and they have taken the WNBA by storm in their first year.

Angel Reese joins Breanna Stewart’s Unrivaled Basketball league
Now, Reese has kept the good fortune going, as she has accepted an invitation to take part in the upcoming Unrivaled Basketball tournament that tips off in Miami in January.
Unrivaled is a 3-on-3 league launched by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. It’s a way for women’s basketball players to make more money than even the WNBA pays, as the salaries for participants in the league are expected to all be in the six figures. Players will also get an equity stake in the league.
Expected to run from January to March at the beginning of 2025, the league will feature 30 women’s players. Although it’s primarily a 3-on-3 league, there will also be 1-on-1 games. It will be a way to make more money, but also a great opportunity to get even more visibility for the top players in the sport.
There are 20 spots left for other players to join, with many hoping Clark will get and accept an invite soon.
