Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are heading into a “challenging stage” of their relationship, amid rumours of a potential engagement in the near future.
The couple, who have been inseparable since they went public in September last year, will likely face months apart due to Swift’s upcoming international tour. Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, even flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina, during his bye week to watch one of Swift’s shows.
However, with Swift’s tours set to resume in 2024, a source told TMZ that the couple will likely spend a significant amount of time apart, which could be challenging.
Despite rumours suggesting that Kelce might propose to Swift soon, it seems this may not be the case. Christmas was also reportedly a difficult time for the couple, with Kansas City’s inconsistent form affecting Kelce’s holiday mood.

According to LifeandStyle, the defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders “ruined” Kelce and Swift’s holidays, despite Kelce insisting on his podcast, New Heights, that it was saved by “good Christmas cheer and good people”.
A source said: “The game pretty much ruined Taylor and Travis’ holidays. Travis wasn’t himself for days after. He snapped at Taylor and they had their first fight. He apologised after but Taylor definitely felt hurt and confused. It was rough.”
But the pair got past their Christmas row, and were all smiles when the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins in their Wild Card game on a very cold Saturday at Arrowhead. Taylor Swift was seen having a great time dancing as the Chiefs showed they meant business.

Kansas City’s next opponent in the playoffs is still unknown, but that hasn’t stopped Patrick Mahomes from sending out a warning. “I really would not want to play our defense,” he declared.
