Elm, a New Canaan, Connecticut restaurant Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were rumored to have dined at, was swarmed by hundreds of fans of the singer on Thursday.

Witnesses told Page Six on Thursday that ‘a massive crowd of Swifties’ surrounded the eatery after a fan account indicated the Shake It Off singer, 33, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, were dining there along with actress Blake Lively, 36.

‘There were crowds of young people outside the restaurant trying to peek in’ the the restaurant, a source told US Weekly.

It was not clear if the three stars were ever present, Page Six reported, as they were not seen going in or coming out at any point.

Sources told the outlet that workers at Elm had to ‘lock the backdoor’ amid the frenzy of fans hoping to ‘catch a glimpse’ of Kelce and Swift, who both appeared on Saturday Night Live last week.

Some people ‘tried to force their way’ into the restaurant, insiders told the outlet, adding that officials with the police and fire departments showed up in an effort to calm things down.

During the stretch, the restaurant set up a cashier outside to take delivery orders in an effort to keep people out of the building.

The restaurant would not comment to the outlet on whether they hosted the high-profile diners.

Their Instagram account featured a number of posts and reposts referring to the stars and the crowd their alleged presence drew.

US Weekly reported the rumors as a ‘hoax,’ with a source telling the outlet that allegations Swift and Kelce were present were the result of a pair of stuffed dolls dressed like the stars that were attached to a lamppost in the area.

The dolls resembling the stars were to advertise the Scarecrow Fest event held by The Young Women’s League of New Canaan.

According to Page Six, Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds own a home that is ‘less than 15 minutes from the restaurant,’ making it possible she could have been around.

Kelce’s presence was more unlikely on Thursday, as he was seen practicing with the Chiefs in their hometown Kansas City, Missouri ahead of their home game Sunday against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers.

The high-profile pair emerged as a couple last month when Swift was on hand to watch Kelce in his September 24 game against the Chicago Bears, as Swift sat in a luxury box alongside Kelce’s mother Donna.

She was seen spotted taking in Kelce’s game against the Jets in New Jersey October 1, bringing celeb pals including Lively, Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner.

Swift was back in Kansas City to cheer on Kelce in his game against the Denver Broncos October 12. The Chiefs have won all three games she has attended.
