TAYLOR Swift has spilled her share of bad blood, feuding with other celebrities and stars over the years.

With the drop of her latest album Midnights, here’s a look at the feuds she’s had.

Kanye West

Kanye West and Taylor Swift have had drama since the 2009 MTV VMA awards.

That night, Taylor, 19 years old, accepted the Best Female Video award for You Belong with Me.

As she began making her speech, Kanye infamously stormed the stage, grabbing the microphone out of a stunned Taylor’s hand.

He said: “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had the best one of the best videos of all time… one of the best videos of all time!”

He was booed off the stage and handed the mic back to Taylor, but it was too late; MTV had already cut to a commercial before she could finish her speech.

In February 2016, Kanye released his new track, Famous.

The song includes a line: “I feel like,me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b***h famous.”

Kanye claimed that he had sought Taylor’s approval first and even had his now ex-wife Kim Kardashreleasesease a video in which the rapper called the singer to tell her about the track.

Taylor hit back, saying that she had consented to the first part of the line but not the part where Kanye used the word b***h.

Kanye’s wife-at-the-time, Kim Kardashian, would continue to dig into the feud, which later sparked song lyrics from Taylor in which she doesn’t name Kanye or Kim specifically but hints about their drama.

Songs on both Reputation and also Lover seemingly reference their feud.

Kim Kardashian

In a continuation of the drama between Kanye and Taylor, Kanye’s ex Kim Kardashian dug her metaphorical claws into the theater, telling GQ that Taylor had given Kanye her full blessing over the Famous lyrics.

She said: “She totally approved that; she wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t.”

“I swear, my husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”

In December 2017, Kim reignited the feud after posting a throwback snap of the singer’s naked wax lookalike, which appeared in Kanye’s Famous exhibition and video.

She posted the picture of her husband’s controversial art exhibit from 2016, which featured a lookalike of the singer in bed alongside Kim, Kanye, and a host of other big names.

Kim captioned the picture: “Famous.”

After Kim posted the snap online, she was inundated with comments from Taylor’s fans accusing her of picking on the singer.

They went on to fill Kim’s comments with thousands of rat emojis.

Taylor appeared to hit back just 24 hours later, posting a picture of herself from her new Vogue shoot.

She wrote next to the picture: “I never trust a narcissist, but they love me…”

Taylor finally got retribution in March 2020; their feud was reignited when an unedited version of the conversation between her and Kanye was released online.

The leaked footage proved that Taylor was not told about the second verse, in which he calls her a b***h.

Scooter Braun

The feud between Taylor and Scooter Braun dates back to when reports surfaced about Scooter’s $300 million deal to purchase Big Machine Records.

At the time, Big Machine Records had a long-standing partnership with Taylor, who she’d signed with from her second album, Fearless.

The deal meant that Scooter Braun now owned the singer’s master recordings, which infuriated Taylor.

She made her frustrations public in a social media post on Tumblr, describing the deal as “her worst-case scenario.”

She said: “All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.”

Then-CEO of Big Machine Records Scott Borchetta countered Taylor’s post by claiming he offered her the opportunity to own her masters through a potential deal in 2018, which Taylor claimed was not the whole truth.

In her music video for The Man, Taylor takes a swipe at Scooter with a sign which reads “No Scooters.”

Next to that is a bunch of graffiti, with the names of her albums which Big Machine Records owned, with another sign that read: “Missing. If found, return to Taylor Swift.”

Katy Perry

Taylor and Katy had a friendly relationship until 2014 when Taylor revealed her song Bad Blood was about another woman in the music industry who she was now “straight-up enemies” with.

The song depicts Taylor’s girl squad, including big names such as Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Serayah, Gigi Hadid, Ellie Goulding, Martha Hunt, Cara Delevingne, Zendaya, Hayley Williams, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, and others, each as a superhero that’s fighting evil.

When the single dropped in 2015, Katy was immediately linked to the song’s antagonist, with the pair making numerous cryptic digs at each other over the following years.

It wasn’t until Katy was on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden that she revealed the root issue of the drama.

She told Corden that the fallout was over backup dancers, who Taylor believed Katy “stole” from her crew of dancers to join her world tour to sabotage Taylor’s Red Tour.

Katy insisted this was not true.

She said Taylor had refused to speak to her about it when she contacted her to discuss the drama.

Finally, in May 2018, the feud ended when Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch and an apology letter.

Taylor posted a video of the package to her Instagram Stories, along with the words “Thank you, Katy.”

In June 2019, the two women were seen together again for the first time in Taylor’s video. You Need To Calm Down.

In the video, the pair are dressed up as french fries and a cheeseburger and are seen hugging and looking at each other adoringly.

Jake Gyllenhaal

The man many fans believe Taylor Swift’s 2012 song All Too Well was written about didn’t speak out about the original release.

But when Taylor re-recorded Red and included a 10-minute version of the song and an accompanying short film starring Sadie Sink as Taylor and Dylan O’Brien as the man in question, Gyllenhaal finally spoke out to the media about amusement.

This came after excessive attacks on him online from Swift fans who wanted justice from him for ending their short-lived relationship.

In an interview with Esquire, Jake said: “It has nothing to do with me.”

“It is her expression. Artists tap into personal experiences for inspiration, and I don’t begrudge anyone that.”

However, fans had already forced Gyllenhall to turn the comments section on his Instagram private.

He added: “At some point, I think it’s important when supporters get unruly that we feel a responsibility to have them be civil and not allow for cyberbullying in one’s name.”

“That begs for a deeper philosophical question.”

“Not about any individual, per se, but a conversation that allows us to examine how we can — or should, even — take responsibility for what we put into the world, our contributions into the world.”

“How do we provoke a conversation?”

“… There’s anger and divisiveness, and it’s literally life-threatening in the extreme.”

While he said he had not listened to Taylor’s re-recording of Red, he also refused to say anything negative about her.

Perhaps this decade-long feud between Taylor and Jake can finally be put to rest.

Karlie Kloss

The blonde bombshells were once inseparable.

Karlie was even said to have her own room at Taylor’s New York City apartment.

They took several road trips up Highway 1 along the California coast, and Taylor told Teen Vogue that Kloss was like sunshine personified.

The two were constantly together until they weren’t.

The two reportedly fell out when Karlie invited her friends over to Taylor’s house without asking her permission first.

A source claimed Taylor “alienated” the American star after “something crazy” happened.

Taylor was reportedly “furious” with Victoria’s Secret model.

Taylor was noticeably absent from both of Karlie’s weddings to her husband, Joshua Kushner.

While she told the press that she had previous plans for both dates, there’s still a rift between the two blonde former besties.

Karlie appeared to confirm she is no longer pals with Taylor, as she holidayed with Scooter Braun.

Scooter shared photos of himself on a yacht with Kloss and her husband, Joshua Kushner, on his Instagram account on August 11, 2019.

Damon Albarn

The Blur band member fired shots at Taylor in a January 2022 article in the LA Times.

He said she was not a ‘real’ songwriter because she had cowriting credits on her albums and hadn’t written them entirely on her own.

He said: “That doesn’t count… Cowriting is very different to writing.“

“I’m not hating on anyone; I’m just saying there’s a big difference between a songwriter and a songwriter who cowrites.”

“Doesn’t mean that the outcome can’t be really great.”

Swift fired back on Twitter the next day.

She wrote: “I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this.”

“I write ALL of my own songs.”

“Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging.”

“You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f***ed up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.”

“PS I wrote this tweet all by myself in case you were wondering.”

Less than an hour later, Damon tweeted an apology to Taylor, who seemed to drop the subject following his tweet.

Calvin Harris

Once upon a time, Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, collaborated on his song This Is What You Came For.

But because she used a pseudonym in the song credits, nobody knew she’d helped him write it until 2016, when word got out.

At the time, Calvin was furious and let Taylor and the world know via Twitter.

He tweeted: “Hurtful to me at this point thsheher and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

In 2017, he expressed his remorse over his reaction and told British GQ about his feelings.

He said: “It was completely the wrong instinct.”

“I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled.”

“It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped.”

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato and Taylor were never especially tight, but Demi has been on Taylor countless times for what she calls “bullying.”

Case in point, Demi slammed Taylor’s Bad Blood song and video.

She told Glamour in 2016: “I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim [feminism] as part of their brand.”

“I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down that’s not women’s empowerment.”

“We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, ‘Am I content with calling myself a feminist?’ Yes, because I speak out.”

Demi also stood up for her manager, another of Taylor’s feuding companions, Scooter Braun.

She wrote on her Instagram Story in June 2019: “Personally, I’m grateful he came into my life when he did.”

“Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in this world as it is.”

John Mayer

Another of Taylor’s ex-boyfriends and co-collaborators on at least one song together, John Mayer, wasn’t very happy about her 2010 release of the song Dear John.

While she doesn’t specify that she’s talking about him, the timeline following their relationship checks out, along with… the name.

“I never got an email, I never got a phone call,” he told Rolling Stone in a 2012 interview.

“I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. … I didn’t deserve it.”

“I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that.”

“It was a really lousy thing for her to do.”

But the two exes seem to have moved on, as Mayer told a crowd at a show years later that her album. Reputation was a “fine piece of work.”

Joe Jonas

Taylor claimed their 2008 relationship ended with a:27 second phone call from Jonas Bro.

Joe, however, claimed in a MySpace post at the time that he “hadn’t ended the phone call,” causing fans to speculate that he was insinuating that Taylor had hung up on him after hearing things she didn’t want to hear.

The two exes made up and even went on double dates with then-partners Gigi Hadid and Calvin Harris.

Joe is speculated to be the subject of Taylor’s song from the vault on her Red re-recording, Mr Perfectly Fine.

Fans loved that Joe’s now-wife, Sophie Turner, posted an Instagram Story of her jamming to the song with a caption that read: “It’s not NOT a bop.”

Finally, Joe is thought to be mentioned in Taylor’s song Invisible String, in which she sings: “Steel was the color of my axe to grind, for the boys who broke my heart; now I send their babies presents.”

The song was released shortly after Joe and Sophie had their first baby together
