Taylor Swift will be spending some extra time in Canada this December as the pop star has extended her Eras Tour.
The 33-year-old singer took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to announce she added three more dates in Vancouver at the BC Place for December 6, 7, and 8, with Gracie Abrams returning as her opening act.
Gracie – who had previously accompanied Taylor during the US portion of the Eras Tour – marked the news by sharing a snap of herself alongside the Cardigan hitmaker on Instagram, writing, ‘What did you say? 3 more Eras shows in Vancouver next year? lfg.’
Taylor is presently in the final days of a two-month touring hiatus after wrapping up her initial set of US and Mexico concerts in late August, when she had an official close at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.
On November 9, she will resume her tour with a series of concerts in Argentina and Brazil.
She’ll then hit 38 more stops overseas, with Eras shows planned for Asia, Europe and Australia, before returning to the States next October.
Tickets for Taylor’s Vancouver stretch of the Eras Tour will go on sale Nov. 9 via Ticketmaster.
The new tour dates come amid her Travis Kelce romance heating up and the NFL star’s mom, Donna Kelce, dishing about the family’s plans for Thanksgiving.
The 71-year-old mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce – who has become a bit of a celebrity in her own right – talked about Thanksgiving Day plans with her two boys.
She told People on Thursday: ‘I’m not quite sure what Travis’ plans are.
‘But I do know that I’ll be in Philly because he has a game that Sunday in Philadelphia, so I definitely will be there for that game.’
However this is normal for the family as they have been traveling during the holidays since both Travis, 34, and Jason, 35, were in college.
Donna said: ‘Ever since they were in college, we’ve always been on the road.
‘I’ve never been in my own home cooking for Christmas or for holidays. It’s just the life of being a mom for the NFL. It’s always work so you have to kind of go where they are.’
While it’s unclear if Taylor with join the Kelce family for the holiday, the pop star has become quite chummy with Donna after meeting her at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game on September 24.
The multi-Grammy award winning artist sat next to Travis’ mom inside a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium; his dad Ed was also in attendance.
Donna and Taylor laughed and chatted during the game, cheering on Travis when he scored a touchdown.
Although she has now met Travis’ parents, Taylor has yet to meet his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and co-hosts the New Heights podcast with his sibling.
Meanwhile, Taylor missed Travis’ last game in Denver due to her concerts, having attended four of his previous five in Kansas City and New Jersey,
The pair did spend Halloween together, however, after she flew to his home from her base in New York.
It’s not clear exactly when the two began seeing each other in person, but Travis had revealed on his New Heights podcast in July that he had hoped to introduce himself to Taylor when he attended one of her Eras Tour stops.
‘I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,’ he joked.
