It looks like the love that Brittany Mahomes was garnering from Taylor Swift fans is starting to dwindle away.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was already on thin ice after she and her family appeared in a new ad for Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS, despite her new friendship with pop star Taylor Swift.

Swift and Kardashian have a complicated history, mainly because of the reality star’s ex-husband Kanye West, who was at odds with the pop star for several years.

That situation caused many in the fan base to unEarth some old tweets from Brittany about Swift.

As you can see, those tweets are over 10 years old as clearly does not feel the same way she did back when she was a teenager. If we held things over people’s heads that they said 10 years ago, no one would have room to grow.

Taylor is unlikely to break the friendship but many in her fan base have already made up their mind on it. They will continue to love and protect Taylor while having to come to grips that Brttany is not going anywhere unless the relationship with Travis Kelce ends.

Judging by the support they give each other in public, that is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
