Taylor Swift is definitely up to something.

After letting the world know that she’s begun re-recording all of her old music, Taylor popped onto social media on Sunday, November 22 to tease fans even more. “Not a lot going on at the moment,” she wrote on Twitter and Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo where she’s posing on the couch in comfy clothes, a bored expression on her face.

If her caption sounds a little familiar, it’s because she’s said it before. Fans were quick to recall the last time she told her followers that she didn’t have “a lot going on” — it was back in April, when she shared a selfie with the same exact words.

At the time, it seemed pretty innocuous and fairly relatable; after all, it was just a few weeks after the coronavirus pandemic hit and much of the country had been under lockdown. But in retrospect, the post is a humorous “gotcha!” because, as we know now, Taylor had been working on folklore during that time.

Taylor’s version of “not a lot going on” seems to translate to actually quite a bit going on, including being hard at work on something magical for her fans, so her recent post certainly sent Swifties into an excited frenzy.
