During their nearly year-long relationship, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have become synonymous with star-studded date nights, high-profile outings, and glamorous jet-setting.
However, according to an insider at Life & Style, Swift is reportedly transitioning into a new phase focused on settling down. The singer, however, is not sure Kelce is on the same page as her.
“Taylor is head over heels in love with Travis,” the insider said. “She doesn’t want to waste more time, so she needs to make sure they’re on the same page about getting married.”
The insider disclosed that Swift, 34, has communicated her intentions to Kelce, also 34, having learned from the challenges of her previous relationship.
During her six-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn, Taylor had hoped for a proposal fervently, the insider explained, but eventually accepted it wasn’t forthcoming.
“Taylor changed so many things to accommodate Joe – she moved to London and agreed to reel in her outgoing personality because he was more of a homebody,” the insider said.
In contrast to what she did for Alwyn however, Swift is not planning to wait indefinitely for Travis, the insider noted.
“She’s not expecting a proposal tomorrow, but she does want to know he’s as serious as she is when it comes to marriage.”
According to critcis, Travis represents a stark contrast to Alwyn. For one, he’s not afraid to broadcast his feelings for Swift.
He even appeared on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast after joining Taylor Swift onstage in London and seemed to indirectly reference Joe’s reserved demeanor.
“It’s like, you want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” he said. “That’s my girl, that’s my lady, I’m proud of that!”
The only issue for critics is that he has not yet proposed. However, given that their relationship is not even for a year, a proposal might just seem to early. An earlier report already claimed that both Kelce and Swift are already way too pressured about the question of marriage, and is starting to be pissed at the topic.
