However, a new report claims the “Reputation” singer has spent a fortune on new duds for her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Speaking to Life and Style, a source alleges that Taylor spent half a million dollars on giving Travis’ wardrobe a makeover.

“Though she admits she’s no fashionista, Taylor’s splashed out $500,000 to help Travis dress better,” the insider claimed. “She loves that he likes to take chances with his style choices, but some of his outfits have been suspect. He’s at an all-new fame level, so stepping it up with designer duds is just part of the deal. Taylor says she’s not changing him — it’s an evolution.”

Travis has been honest about how much a change it’s been to have his personal life plastered all over the tabloids now that he’s dating Taylor. The Chiefs star even had to buy a new $6 million mansion with enhanced security features after Swifties started showing up to his previous home, compromising his safety.

Taylor – who wore an outfit that apparently cost at least $50,000 to watch Travis win the Super Bowl earlier this year – achieved billionaire status last year thanks to the success of her Eras tour, which is reportedly the highest-grossing tour in history and is ongoing this year.

It’s not only Taylor who’s enjoying new levels of career and financial success. Travis, too, has reportedly seen a boost in his net worth since dating the pop star thrust him into the spotlight.

Not only have his jersey sales spike and Chiefs viewership increases, but he’s seen a rise in his social media following, which means more opportunities for paid collaborations and advertisements.

While the source’s comments suggest Taylor isn’t afraid to invest monetarily in their relationship, which has been hit with various engagement rumors, the insider warns the couple are starting to butt heads over her expectations. The source claimed it’s simply Taylor’s way of helping him navigate the media attention and pressure, which she’s had many more years of experience handling, especially in terms of romantic relationships.

“She doesn’t want to control him — just help. He’s under a microscope now, more than ever,” the insider continued, using Travis’ recent brand collabs and trademark applications as evidence that Taylor is helping him expand his career outside of the NFL.

“Taylor loves Travis and thinks these rules will help things with their romance, as well as his career, stay on the rails,” they continued, suggesting that Taylor has big visions for her and Travis, should their relationship stay on the straight and narrow.
