Taylor Swift — who is known to have 4th of July gatherings — celebrated the American holiday abroad this year.
Taylor Swift is still Miss Americana, even from 3,500 miles away.
On Thursday, the 34-year-old singer celebrated the 4th of July during her Eras Tour stop in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, as she continued on the European leg of her nearly two-year-long worldwide endeavor.
Swift took the stage at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in front of a packed crowd, performing the sweeping journey through the biggest hits of her career, complete with impressive choreography, stunning sets and epic costume changes.
She even thrilled fans by bringing back the purple folklore dress and debuting a new outfit for her 1989 era: a sparking blue top and red-orange skirt — perhaps in celebration of the holiday.
Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang and his Las Culturistas co-host, Matt Rogers, continued the tradition of celebrity attendance during the European Eras Tour, posting a pic with friends to their Instagram Stories.

Last year, Swift marked the Fourth of July holiday by welcoming her friends for an epic weekend at her coastal home in Rhode Island, a staple of Swift.
Prior to 2023’s gathering, Swift held her last public Independence Day blowout in 2016 when her then-beau, Tom Hiddleston, who famously wore an “I Heart T.S.” shirt. Over the years, she’s hosted a laundry list of celebrities before the parties ended in 2017.
“Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies 😎,” Swift wrote in a caption in July 2023, sharing pics with Selena Gomez and Haim sisters Alana Haim, Este Haim and Danielle Haim, as well as stylist Ashley Avignone and model Sydney Ness.
Just months before, ET exclusively confirmed that the singer had split from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.
She concluded her 4th of July post last year, writing, “See you tonight Kansas Cityyy.”
Funny enough, that was the concert at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri where Swift’s now-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, first witnessed her perform and attempted to give her his phone number on a friendship bracelet.
Flash forward to a year later and the pair have become one of the hottest couples around, with the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently making his on-stage debut at the Eras Tour in London and appearing at countless concerts around the world in support of his girlfriend.
A source recently shared with ET how the “So High School” crooner and her NFL star boyfriend pulled off his surprise appearance at Wembley Stadium and how the experience bonded them as a couple.

“It was definitely a new, defining point in their relationship and they had a blast getting the chance to [share] a personal side of themselves with the world,” the source said. “They are so happy with how everything turned out and loved seeing all the fan reactions.”
The source added, “It was a very special experience for them and also hints at what their future might hold together.”
