Kansas City Chiefs player Justin Reid has spilled the beans on how Taylor Swift‘s romance with team-mate Travis Kelce has left a lasting impression on the group.
The love story between the global pop star and the two-time Super Bowl champion has been the subject of intrigue among music and sports fans alike since last year.
Their loved-up displays have often played out in front of the cameras at Arrowhead Stadium and other venues, including during the Chiefs’ recent playoff win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. Swift’s most recent appearance to support her beau was arguably the most significant one yet.

Her unwavering support from the sidelines accompanied the Chiefs securing their second Super Bowl spot in as many years. After the crucial 17-10 win, Swift joined her boyfriend on the field to celebrate their victory.
Now, Chiefs star Reid has given TMZ Sports a sneak peek into how much the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer is admired within the KC locker room. “She’s very, very sweet,” Reid shared, defending her from critics.

“I don’t understand why she’s getting all the hate. She’s an awesome person, awesome artist all around. Despite this, he did remain coy on the subject of whether Swift will join in with the celebrations if they win in the Super Bowl once more in Las Vegas on February 11 versus the San Francisco 49ers, as he added”

“I’m sure she’ll be busy celebrating with her man.” Speaking on the ‘Inside the NFL’ podcast, he seemed to be: “Their relationship is unique and special and it’s for them, man. So I’ll let them have their moment together.”
“And I’m not going to step too much into what’s their business.” Coach Andy Reid also seems to value his long-standing connection with Swift and her family, dating back to her childhood in Philadelphia.

He was even seen pointing towards Swift as the Chiefs celebrated their win against the Ravens, with the pop star having joined in with the jubilant scenes on the field. Travis’ NFL star brother Jason noticed this moment and mentioned it during a recent episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

He said: “This was the great photo tweeted out of Big Red showing a little love to Taylor up on the stage. He’s got a little point, they’re pointing at each other. “That was a cool moment to see afterwards.”
I didn’t get to see it because I was up on the stage screaming, ‘Fight for your right.’ Yeah, that was a cool one,” Travis said as he looked back at the fun times.

Jason then made a funny comment about how Swift has become lucky for their team. “Shoutout to the newest members of the Chiefs kingdom, Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year,” the former Eagles player joked.
