Travis Kelce was mocked by fans for his clothing when he arrived for the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday, where his girlfriend Taylor Swift was watching him play in the NFL for the first time.
Kelce was pictured arriving for the game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday wearing a curious matching blue and white jacket and pants. Unbeknown to fans at the time, Swift was also on her way to the stadium to take a seat in the stands next to his mom, Donna, for the game, which the Chiefs won, 41-10.
The Chiefs tweeted out a picture and video of their tight end turning up and waving as fans cheered him, but several supporters on social media were joking that his outfit made him look like he’d been painting at home before the game
But what Taylor Swift may or may not think is another question altogether. Kelce, who won the Super Bowl last year with the Chiefs (and in 2019, too) said this week that he was keen for the popstar to come and watch him play in Kansas.
Now, Swift has taken him up on the offer, as the Chiefs play at home on Sunday on a weekend where she isn’t touring.

Swift, 33, was pictured in the stands wearing a red-and-white jersey – the colors of the Chiefs. The team tweeted out ‘Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift’ next to video of her cheering the team.
She was seen on camera enthusiastically shouting and clapping before the start of the game, with Kelce one of the star players for the Chiefs – the current Super Bowl champions.

Kelce broke his silence on his links to Swift earlier this week in an appearance on the Pat McAfee show and told people not to listen to his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, when asked about his dating life.
‘It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually got,’ he revealed live on the Pat McAfee Show. ‘I think right now it’s like that old game at school, “Telephones”, where everyone is just whispering in each other’s ears and hearing some random stuff… no-one actually knows what’s going on.
‘Especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce going on national television and telling both sides… he doesn’t know, it’s true, it’s this and that. He goes on Thursday Night Football and the first thing he brings up is “Catching Kelce”, and then not even a week later he’s telling everyone it’s 100 percent true.
‘The guy is ridiculous, he can’t stay out of the fricking headlines. He was on the show yesterday saying everyone thinks he’s the Ian Rapoport of my dating relationships… everyone, please stop asking my brother about my love life.’
It was then Kelce’s turn to reveal the news from the horse’s mouth, as he revealed he has been speaking to the popstar – and has given her a very tempting invite.
‘It’s life, baby,’ he continued. ‘I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court. I said, “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead, and see which one’s a little more lit. We’ll see what happens in the near future. Alright, nowwwww.’

The news was met with raucous cheers from the panel on McAfee’s show, as the team wished him luck with his pursuit of music’s most famous face.
Until Thursday afternoon, all of the news regarding the potential romance between two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce, 33, and pop sensation Swift, also 33, was either rumors spread in the media or by his brother Jason.
