It seems that the Grammy winner Taylor Swift is owning up to things she might have been a bit immature about as a young star. In a candid confession on The Ellen Show, the singer admitted regretting her public outburst about her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. The two briefly dated in 2008 before the Cardigan singer went on to call out her ex on the talk show for breaking up with her over a 27-second phone call. However, she has admitted that it was an immature act she doesn’t admire in hindsight.

While joining in the game of Burning Questions on The Ellen Show, Taylor Swift was asked about the most rebellious thing she had done as a teenager. The singer recalled the time she called out the singer-songwriter Joe Jonas during an earlier appearance on the talk show.

“Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show,” she said before adding, “That was too much.” She further stated that she was just 18 at the time, calling it “some teenage stuff.” The talk show host, however, didn’t seem to recall the incident, as she said, “That’s held onto you because I don’t remember that at all!”

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift went on to be pretty popular when they were first linked together, back in the late 2000s. They were together for around three months before they split up. While the singer did reveal the details about their split and called her ex out on the popular talk show, they reportedly have been on good terms.

In a 2015 interview with Access Hollywood, Joe Jonas addressed being the subject of the award-winning singer’s song. “That’s part of being a musician, I guess. You write songs about each other,” he said before mentioning that they are friends. After the 33-year-old singer admitted that she regretted calling out her ex publicly, Joe Jonas said that it was “nice” of her to do that.
As per The Sun, the DNCE singer said, “Yeah, it did feel nice,” stating that he “probably was feeling pretty bad” about it at the time but has moved on. He also said that he is happy that the All Too Well singer has also moved on and that they are on good terms.
