He’s one of the biggest action stars in the world right now, but Jason Statham had a more exotic career in his youth.
For the 47-year-old Fast And Furious 7 actor began his camera career as a backing dancer in a couple of electro-pop music videos that have recently been unearthed.
Giving Tarzan a run for his money, a young Jason can be seen shaking the stuff that God gave him in The Shamen’s video for their 1993 hit Comin’ On.

Twenty-five-year-old Statham certainly came across as a well-oiled dancing machine as he pumped his fists and thrust his hips in a pair of leopard-print pants.
He also appeared in the video for Erasure’s Run To The Sun, but this time his body was covered in silver paint.
Clearly, Jason was a popular choice for promos in the Nineties psychedelic-influenced electronic dance music scene.

These classic clips of the actor were unearthed on Reddit, but Den Of Geek went on to identify a number of other acting jobs Jason had undertaken in his younger years.
He appeared briefly in The Beautiful South’s Dream A Little Dream video in 1995 as well as few 1997 adverts for Lee Jeans and Soccer Nation.
Of course his move into acting first began after his England swimming career came to an end at the 1990 Commonwealth Games diving competition in Auckland.

Luckily Guy Richie saw something in the snake-hipped Statham and cast him in his 1998 British gangster film Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.
Two years later he teamed up again with Richie for Snatch but it wasn’t until 2002’s The Transporter that Jason became a household action star name.
As Frank Martin, Statham went onto appear in two sequels and then the super action star franchise The Expendables as Lee Christmas.
The actor – currently dating British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – turned bad guy in the latest instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise as Deckard Shaw.
