She portrayed the leading lady role in the Spider-Man trilogy alongside her beau, Tom Holland. After gaining massive stardom by starring in their first film together, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland praised his co-star in an interview with PEOPLE. He opened up about how the duo were great chums at the time,

“We are like the best of friends. She’s so great and amazing.”
He continued to share how he was conscious about getting into the sudden limelight but the actress helped her in navigating fame.

“I’m a little worried [about dealing with fame … but] Zendaya is super famous and she’s been through this and I just call her up and say, ‘How do I manage being famous?’ I’m very glad I have a friend like her.”

“We are friends. He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends.”

Despite the denial, their secret love soon became public when they were spotted kissing in a car. Their frequent moments together further fueled the rumors. After keeping their love under wraps for a few years, they eventually shared their thoughts on the downside of being a celebrity.
