The rise of Formula One’s popularity continued to attract the stars Sunday for the sport’s most lavish race, the Monaco Grand Prix.

Actors Tom Holland and Michael Douglas headlined the A-Listers hitting the Circuit de Monaco among the superyachts and flash sports cars.

The celebs attending the race watched Red Bull’s defending champion Max Verstappen start in pole position after Saturday’s qualifying.

Holland, donning a deep green shirt and sunglasses, beamed as he chatted alongside fellow on-screen big guns Orlando Bloom, David Harbour and Archie Madekwe.

The Spider-Man actor was pictured chatting to Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner, whose driver Max Verstappen started in pole position.

American actor Douglas posed with former drivers Australian Mark Webber and Brit David Coulthard.

Douglas had had a prime view of qualifying a day prior as he watched from a balcony overlooking the track with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The power couple had just arrived back from the launch of the new Aston Martin DB12 at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

The pair were in the South of France at the same time as the Cannes Film Festival, which was happening just a few miles along the coast from Antibes.

Orlando Bloom also hit the paddock posing with a Red Bull car in the garage ahead of the race before being pictured soaking up the sun as he chatted with fellow racegoers.

Former Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio stunned on the track as she channeled effortless Monaco chic in a strapless white crop top and wide-leg navy satin pants, baring her toned, flat stomach.

The Brazilian beauty with her bronde tresses loose over her shoulders strutted around the paddock, topping the look off with a pair of sunglasses and a red Chanel shoulder bag.

Music sensation Kylie Minogue was also spotted dazzling at the track in a stylish loose-fitting white jumpsuit and matching strappy heels, adding a pop of color with red-painted nails.

Actor James Marsden, comedian Chris Rock and Dame Shirley Bassey also brought the star power to Monaco.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t just the stars of the red carpet who were out in force as the big names of the sporting world also hit the track.

Brazilian soccer star Neymar swapped the field for the paddock as he cut a suave figure, while his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Marco Verratti attended with girlfriend Jessica Aidi.

The two athletes jetted to Monaco after their French side clinched a record-breaking 11th Ligue 1 title Saturday.

Verstappen called his first pole at Monaco ‘very lovely’ but there was nothing to cheer for his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez as last year’s race winner crashed early in qualifying.

Alpine’s Esteban Ocon surprisingly led near the end of the session before the 41-year-old Fernando Alonso moved back to the top as he chased a first pole since the German GP in 2012, when he was with Ferrari.

But Verstappen had other ideas as he brushed the walls of the sinewy street circuit to beat Alonso’s time by just 0.084 seconds and clinch his fourth pole of the season and 23rd of his career.

‘I knew this weekend it was going to be tight,’ the 25-year-old Verstappen said. ‘I definitely pushed a bit harder.’

Alonso walked over to Verstappen and shook his hand after a tight tussle between the two-time F1 champions.

‘Feels great, I always had confidence in what I could do,’ Alonso said. ‘We’re starting on the front row in Monaco, so job done.’

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was chasing a third straight pole on his home circuit but qualified in third, 0.106 behind Verstappen.

But Leclerc was then handed a three-place grid penalty by race stewards for impeding McLaren’s Lando Norris. Stewards ruled that Norris was on a fast lap and caught up with Leclerc in the middle of the tunnel, where he was clearly impeded.

Stewards reviewed team radio and found that Ferrari failed to give Leclerc any warning about Norris’ approach until the other driver was already directly behind him.

Last year, Ferrari made a series of blunders with strategy calls and team orders — including at the Monaco GP, where Leclerc missed out on a possible victory when he was called into the pits at the wrong time and ended up finishing fourth.

Saturday’s grid penalty move moved Ocon up from fourth to third, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz Jr. improves to fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes in fifth.

Pierre Gasly (Alpine), George Russell (Mercedes), Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri) and Norris rounded out the top 10.

Perez will start from the back.
