Fans flooded social media after hearing the comment

SPORTS commentator Tony Romo left fans completely shocked with his comment during Sunday’s game.

Romo was calling the Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills game with Jim Nantz on CBS.

And pop superstar Taylor Swift was once again in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium.

She watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce make a big play for the Chiefs in the second quarter.

CBS cameras cut to her celebrating the big gain from Kelce.

And Romo said referred to her as “Kelce’s wife.”

Kelce and Swift have been dating for a couple of months with their first public display of affection in October.

Romo’s remark was noticed by fans watching the game, and they took to social media to express their shock.

One said: “Romo just called Taylor Swift Kelce’s wife, Somewhere the swifties are screaming.”

Another commented: “NFL announcer said Kelce’s WIFE then corrected saying girlfriend… do they know something we don’t?!?”

Swift has been a regular at Kelce’s games since dating rumors began to swirl in September.

Roles were reversed during the Chiefs bye week as Kelce traveled to watch Swift perform.

The Chiefs tight end flew to Argentina to watch the latest leg of her Eras Tour.

And the pair were spotted kissing backstage while Swift also changed some song lyrics in honor of her new boyfriend.
