Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are expanding their partnership beyond the football field with the announcement of their latest venture: a high-end steakhouse set to open in downtown Kansas City very soon.

Teammates Mahomes and Kelce are teaming up with the Las Vegas-based hospitality group Noble 33 to bring 1587 Prime to life. Named after their jersey numbers, the upscale eatery promises to offer a unique dining experience that reflects the duo’s passion for fine cuisine and hospitality.

“We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City?” said Kelce in a statement.

1587 Prime will feature sophisticated decor with subtle nods to football, including emerald green leather banquettes and polished parquet wood flooring adorned with marble inset X’s and O’s.

The restaurant’s design will pay homage to the excitement of the game while providing an elegant backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. According to Tosh Berman, co-founder of Noble 33, Mahomes and Kelce played a significant role in shaping the restaurant’s concept.

“Both of them are longtime regulars of our other restaurants, so a great starting point was bringing elements they loved from those experiences and abstracting them in an original way for 1587 Prime,” Berman explained.

At the heart of 1587 Prime will be a meat display featuring specialty cuts from the restaurant’s steak program. With street-level access and spanning 10,000 square feet across two floors at Loews Kansas City, the establishment aims to become a premier destination for steak enthusiasts and wine connoisseurs alike.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,”Mahomes said in a press release. Berman assured that this is just the beginning of their partnership with the Super Bowl Champions.

“We do intend on expanding the brand with Patrick and Travis starting with the other cities where we have a significant footprint,” said Berman, hinting at future collaborations between the football stars and Noble 33.

With Mahomes and Kelce at the helm, the steakhouse promises to deliver an unparalleled dining experience that captures the essence of Kansas City’s culinary scene.
