Kelce and Mahomes recently got their hands on their third Super Bowl rings
Now the Chiefs duo are set to link up again, this time in the restaurant business
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are planning to make their steakhouse the new party spot for the Kansas City Chiefs, the quarterback has revealed.
Last week, the Super Bowl winners announced they were going into business together to launch ‘1587 Prime’ – a modern American steakhouse in Kansas City.
The name comes from their respective jersey numbers at the Chiefs and will open inside the Loews Hotel in early 2025.
That will be in time for the playoffs next season and Mahomes has revealed he is keen for the venue to become a place to celebrate for the team moving forward.
‘Me and Travis been working on it for a while,’ Mahomes said, according to Fox4KC.

The Chiefs duo’s hotspot, which is named ‘1587 Prime’ after their respective jersey numbers, will be two stories high and 10,000-square feet
‘We always see these restaurants and we have a love for bringing people together. I think the biggest thing for us is we’re gonna do whatever we can to keep bringing people together and what better place than Kansas City?’
‘Hopefully we can win some games at Arrowhead Stadium and then we get to go over and have a few drinks and food with it.’
Mahomes added that he and Kelce plan to keep prices modest so that everyone can visit.
‘We don’t wanna make it too upscale, too high priced that not everybody can go,’ he added.
‘We’re gonna make it a place where hopefully Kansas City can call it home and that everybody can be there and really enjoy it.’
Mahomes and Kelce have partnered with Noble 33 – a hospitality group with a vast lineup of restaurants – for the venture.
Entrepreneur Tosh Berman, who works closely with Noble 33, says the Kansas City stars have shared a number of cool and original ideas, including ‘hyper-subtle’ nods to their respective NFL achievements.
It is also set to boast a spectacular meat display as the focal point, along with one of the largest wine collections in the state.
Upon making the announcement last week, Mahomes said: ‘Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.’
Kelce added: ‘We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City.’
