Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift plan to get engaged in the summer after holding off over the holiday season out of fear it would seem like ‘rushed insanity’, according to reports.

An insider is quoted as saying: ‘Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan.’

There is said to be a buzz that the pair will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July, having first met a few months before Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September.

The singer and songwriter revealed in an interview with Time that they began hanging out after Kelce admitted trying and failing to give her his phone number on his New Heights podcast in July.

‘We started hanging out right after that,’ she said. ‘So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.
