Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have spent so much time on Zoom lately that they have even apparently fallen asleep together on a call.
The couple have spent weeks apart with Kelce back in Kansas City preparing for the new football season while Swift has been in Europe for four months on her Eras Tour – her final shows of that run are across the pond in London this weekend.
A source is quoted as saying: ‘They’re on different time zones but Travis is fitting his schedule around hers by going to bed super early after training camp.
‘She’s up super late at night, and he’s so dead tired when he gets home, that it actually works out.
‘They set up the Zoom and snuggle into bed to talk and catch up on everything that happened in their day. They’ll eat dinner together on the video call and treat it like a date.
‘They’ll even watch movies together and then fall asleep with it going all night, so they can wake up together. They’re counting down the days until they see each other again.’
It comes amid reports that Kelce is relishing the prospect of Swift spending more time at his $6million Kansas City mansion when the football season is back up and running.
It has even been reported that the Chiefs star, 34, has upgraded his kitchen for Swift because she loves cooking so much.
Kelce and the Chiefs are lining up their run at a third straight Super Bowl title this season – a feat that has never been achieved before in football.
They start the season on September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium with a monster showdown against Baltimore Ravens.
Swift should be free to attend given she is on a break from touring.
Earlier this week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes joked that Kelce had changed his appearance after getting some advice form his famous girlfriend.
As part of a wider answer about his team in an interview with NFL Radio, Mahomes said: ‘You got the old man (Kelce). I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it.’
Mahomes and Kelce are also expected to play a half of Saturday’s NFL warmup games against Detroit Lions.
