Travis Kelce Reveals Promise to Taylor Swift After Her Grammy Wins

Travis Kelce is congratulating Taylor Swift on her Grammys win while also making some promises of his own. During the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, the music artist became the first person to win album of the year four times when Celine Dion declared her record “Midnights” as the winner. That night, Swift won best pop vocal album, raising her total number of Grammys to 14.

Kelce was unable to be by his lady’s side that night because he was preparing for the impending Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, when his Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers. So when reporters asked him about Swift’s massive Grammy wins the next day, Kelce offered nothing but love and support.

“She’s unbelievable,” the NFL star told reporters at a pre-Super Bowl press conference on Feb. 5. “She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’d have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware too.” On Jan. 28, the couple was seen kissing on the field after the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship.

While many Swift fans expected him to attend the Grammys with her, the Chiefs tight end stated on “The Pat McAfee Show” ahead of the event, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but I think — I’ve got practice on Sunday, or I think Sunday’s a travel day.”

“Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ole Super Bowl that we got in a week,” he added. Fans are wondering if Swift will be able to support her boyfriend at the Super Bowl. The diva will resume her “Eras Tour” on February 7 in Tokyo. She will then perform four nights in the city, with her final act closing the day before the big game.

Viewers will need to wait and see. In the meanwhile, Swift is keeping busy following her Grammy win. During the show, she disclosed that her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” will be released on February 5, and she shared the track list.
