Will the distance between Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, continue to stretch now that the music icon is on her Australian tour leg?
Ed Kelce, father of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, shared that the Super Bowl victor is looking forward to visiting Swift overseas during her ongoing Eras Tour. The tour is set to proceed on Friday with a series of four concerts in Sydney.
“In our post-Super Bowl conversation, I inquired if he planned to jet off to Sydney, and he seemed enthusiastic,” Ed mentioned during an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald published on Tuesday.
“He expressed a desire to explore Sydney and Singapore, although he was uncertain due to other obligations. Today, he’s at a celebrity charity golf event, which I believe is taking place in Las Vegas.”
Following an 11th season climax with the Chiefs securing their third Super Bowl win in five years by defeating the 49ers 25-22 in overtime, Kelce celebrated the triumph alongside his family and Swift at Allegiant Stadium, where the couple commemorated their victory with a kiss.
Swift, overheard on a live microphone according to TMZ, expressed her astonishment and pride, questioning, “How did you manage that?”
Before attending the Super Bowl, Swift, aged 34, arrived in Las Vegas from Tokyo, Japan, where she had completed four shows as part of her Eras Tour.
She enjoyed the Super Bowl from a VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium, accompanied by both her and Kelce’s families.
After her last show in Singapore on March 9, Swift will take a break until May 9, when she resumes her tour in Europe, starting with a concert in Paris.
Kelce, who has been in a relationship with Swift since the summer, is rumored to be planning to accompany the 14-time Grammy award-winning artist on her tour during his off-season. He made a trip to South America in November to see her perform in Argentina, coinciding with the Chiefs’ bye week.
