Beyoncé, Solange Knowles and Jay-Z attended the 2014 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, USA) earlier last week. After the party at the Standard Hotel, the famous family returned home together.

An elevator camera accidentally captured the “melee” between Jay-Z and his sister-in-law. The nearly 4-minute clip shows the entire fight from start to finish, according to TMZ on May 12 (local time).

In the clip, Solange, as soon as she got into the elevator, repeatedly turned to curse Jay-Z. Then, the 27-year-old tried to use every means to beat her 44-year-old brother-in-law. Using her hands and feet wasn’t enough, so she even used her handbag to hit him.

A man, believed to be a bodyguard, tried to intervene, but Solange seemed unwilling to give up. She repeatedly tried to overcome the resistance to attack Jay-Z. The famous rapper only gave in and defended herself every time his sister-in-law… raised her hands or kicked her feet.

It is known that the bodyguard had to press the emergency button on the 12th floor to avoid controversy and prevent the family scandal from being exposed in front of reporters’ cameras.

Being in the elevator, Beyoncé did not try to stop the two brothers but only witnessed the incident from beginning to end.

Jay Z seems to be in shock after being scolded and beaten repeatedly.

Soon after, the next images of them were recorded outside the hotel. Jay-Z walked out with his face in his hands while Solange was still visibly angry. Only Beyoncé had a somewhat forced smile.

Beyoncé got in the car and left with Solange while Jay-Z went in a separate car with bodyguards.

According to RO, Solange has admitted to having drug problems in the past. Last year, she canceled her European tour amid rumors of drug use.

In February 2009, she also said on her personal page that she had to go to the hospital because of an overdose of Nyquil.

A few days after the event, Beyoncé and her husband were still very happy in public last weekend. They watched the game between Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center (Brooklyn) while Solange performed at Webster Hall (New York).

The cause of the incident remains unclear as representatives for Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Solange have not commented.

However, many people have been inspired by this video clip to create many photos of the main characters.
