Will Taylor Swift spend Thanksgiving Day with Travis Kelce? Donna Kelce talks family holiday plans with TWO NFL star sons – amid high profile romance
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have the most talked about relationship of the year, but will they be spending the holidays together?
Travis Kelce’s mom Donna would also like to know.
The 71-year-old mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce – who has become a bit of a celebrity in her own right – talked about Thanksgiving Day plans with her two boys.
She told People on Thursday: ‘I’m not quite sure what Travis’ plans are.
‘But I do know that I’ll be in Philly because he has a game that Sunday in Philadelphia, so I definitely will be there for that game.’
However this is normal for the family as they have been traveling during the holidays since both Travis, 34, and Jason, 35, were in college.
Donna said: ‘Ever since they were in college, we’ve always been on the road.’
The two brothers both played football as they attended the University of Cincinnati and would spend their Thanksgivings there or one of the sons would host when they got to the NFL.
Donna explained: ‘I’ve never been in my own home cooking for Christmas or for holidays.
‘It’s just the life of being a mom for the NFL. It’s always work so you have to kind of go where they are.’
As Donna has been thrust into the spotlight after numerous hangouts in the luxury box with Taylor at Travis’ games, she talked abut her newfound fame.
She told People: ‘It’s been a ride. That’s for sure. Sometimes I feel I’m on some kind of a different planet. I’m like, “What has my life become?”‘
The mom-of-two has been taking it all in stride as she insisted to the publication that it is ‘kind of fun’ receiving admiration from NFL fans and Swifties alike.
She said: ‘It is. It’s fun being recognized. Most everyone is pretty respectful and very positive.’
Meanwhile, Donna received a hero’s welcome on her flight to Germany on Wednesday, as she joined the legions of Kansas City Chiefs fans heading for Europe.
Travis and his teammates are set to play the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt on Sunday, and Mama Kelce appears to be making the long trip in good time, even arriving before her son.
Donna was snapped by fans as she walked onto the plane, repping her son’s No. 87 on her denim jacket.
According to fans on social media, she received a rapturous welcome from the fellow Chiefs fans on board the long-haul flight.

Unfortunately for Travis though, while the No 1 woman in his life will be there, the No 2 – new girlfriend Taylor Swift – is set to swerve the game as she prepares for the South American leg of her Eras Tour.
The pop superstar is set to perform in Buenos Aires a week today to begin a run of nine shows in 17 days, and she is deep in preparations for the sold-out run.
Swift missed Kelce’s last game in Denver, having attended four of his previous five in Kansas City and New Jersey, but the pair did then spend Halloween together after she flew to his home from her base in New York.
Kelce, meanwhile, didn’t mince his words as he looked ahead to the weekend’s game in Germany – in what is likely to be the Chiefs’ toughest test of the season so far.
They head into the game after a shock defeat by the Broncos in a snowy Denver, and the tight end isn’t planning on taking any prisoners.
‘I’m ready to f***ing move on from last week,’ Kelce said during his New Heights podcast on Wednesday. ‘I’m excited to f***in’ get this train rolling.
‘We’re going into a huge game next week against the Dolphins in Germany. A lot of commotion, a lot of extra added, kind of Super Bowl-like media. To focus in on the job at hand is going to be so f***ing critical,’ Kelce continued.
Kelce, amid his rising celebrity status thanks to his romance with girlfriend Taylor Swift, was a prime target after Kansas City lost for the first time since 2015 to Denver, only mustering nine points in the game.
Last Friday night, he was seen at the World Series in Texas and was also spotted early Saturday morning partying and singing Swift’s ‘Love Story’ at a bar.
‘This is a point in the season that’s either going to make us feel and be the team we think we are, or it is going to get tougher,’ Kelce said.
‘Because right now, we are tied in the conference with a 6-2 record for the No. 1 spot and we got tough divisional opponents. We still got the (Las Vegas) Raiders twice and the (Los Angeles) Chargers one more time,’ Kelce stated.
‘We got to get this thing fixed right now, enough talking about it.’
Kelce said the team will fly out to Europe on Thursday overnight, arriving Friday.
The Dolphins have one of the best offenses in the NFL and scored 61 more points against the Broncos than the Chiefs did.
‘I don’t really feel jet lag that much. I’m also a guy where if you wake me up at 1 in the morning or 2 in the morning, from a good f***in deep sleep, I will f***kin play you right now wherever,’ Kelce said.
‘I don’t give a damn what time it is; I don’t care if I haven’t slept in three days. I love this f***ing game. I love going out there and balling,’ Kelce continued.
‘I could care less if we got there Sunday morning, got there five days ahead of time. I just want to go out there and get a f***ing win,’ Kelce stated.
