Though a famous actor before as well, Chris Hemsworth earned a considerable amount of fame from his spectacular portrayal of the God of Thunder aka Thor Odinson. But while he is enormously honest and worthy on-screen – the reason why he can lift up Mjolnir – that’s not the same case off-screen, judging by the antics pulled by the Extraction star while shooting as the Marvel character.
In fact, the crew from the Marvel Cinematic Universe got so tired of Hemsworth’s ‘escapades’ that they put him in his place for trying to steal one of his axes, Stormbreaker, from the sets of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)!
The Time When Marvel Put Chris Hemsworth In His Place For Stealing Props

While Chris Hemsworth is widely renowned for playing the truthful and worthy God of Thunder on-screen in films from the MCU studios, very few fans must have known about his other side, which includes stealing from the sets of his Marvel movies. And this got so tiresome for the franchise that they had to remind him of his place for trying to repeat his antic once again.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Avengers star was asked by the host,
“Last time [you] were here, you said you took five of Thor’s hammers home. I don’t know how they missed five hammers. But you managed to smuggle five of them home. Did you hear anything from anyone? The Marvel police, did they contact you?”
To this, Hemsworth shared the story of how this time he got a bit unsuccessful while trying to steal a Stormbreaker from the sets of Thor: Love and Thunder. He said,
“All I got was a couple of comments. It’s just – what it was – it made it very difficult for me to s- get another hammer from the next movie. [Right] Or the new weapon that I have in this film [Thor: Love and Thunder]. I was like, ‘I’m gonna get one of these home-‘ [and they were like] ‘No, no, no, we know what you’ve done five times.”

In another interview, while responding to frequently asked questions by fans, Chris Hemsworth revealed just where he keeps his stolen props from the sets of his movies.
“I have a hammer from just about every film, I think, and then I took Stormbreaker from one of the Avengers films and this last one. They’re all scattered around the house in various places. They often end up in the toilet, in the bathroom. My wife kinda puts them there. I put them on the mantlepiece, and she’s like, ‘Nah. they go in the back room.’”
A rather undeserving place for a weapon yielded by a superhuman indeed!
