No, I don’t think that was her plan. Meghan’s plan was much more ambitious and fantastical. Oh, yes she would return to California alright but as an honoured guest, the most important member of the Royal family. Not just California either but the USA, Australia, Canada, in fact countries all over the world would want her to pay them a visit. Meghan planned to use the Royal family to become the most famous and sought after woman in the world. So, full was she of her own self importance that Meghan planned to remodel the Royal family. Gone would be centuries of tradition, out would go primogeniture and the hereditary line of succession and instead it would be like a game show where the one who has the most followers on social media, the most hits on Google, the most photographed and the most talked about would rise through the ranks to the very top spot. There would be money making spin offs such as a Royal range of cosmetics, underwear, children’s wear etc. You too could wear the same style bra and knickers, use the same face cream and perfume as ‘Queen’ Meghan!

Running back to California was not part of her plan at all, she had intended to return in triumph. Tom Bowen chose a most appropriate title for his book because Meghan had to come up with another plan when her ambitions were thwarted and her second plan was all about taking revenge.
