Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson is set to get a signature shoe. While she awaits the release of her shoe, Wilson is currently representing the USA basketball women’s team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Additionally, she is preparing for the upcoming release of her slides. Sole Retriever announced that Wilson is getting her Nike Calm Slide in a pink colorway for next year’s summer.

Wilson didn’t appreciate this information being leaked and took to social media to question who was behind it.

“Ok ok who’s the mole???? 😵‍💫🫣,” Wilson wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

These leaks have become common in the sneaker world, as some of these announcements are taken with the same excitement as player transactions in major sports leagues.

A’ja Wilson is having a blast in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games

A’ja Wilson has been performing exceptionally on the basketball court and is also making a positive impact off the court. The Aces star has been actively supporting fellow basketball players at the Olympic Games. She had brunch with Breanna Stewart and other teammates before watching the women’s 3×3 basketball team.

After that, she attended the celebration of USA Basketball’s 50 years and celebrated with other basketball stars such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Dwyane Wade and more legends like Tom Brady.

She hyped up Snoop Dogg during his presentation at his ceremony, sharing a story that included the legendary rapper.

On Tuesday, she was spotted sitting next to Snoop Dogg while the USA basketball men’s team played against Brazil. Wilson and Snoop looked happy to watch the team dominate its South American opponents.

Wilson and his teammates will face Nigeria on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. ET as they continue their ambitious run and win their eighth straight gold medal in the Summer Games.

A’ja Wilson is tied with teammate Breanna Stewart for third-best scorer in the Olympic tournament, averaging 20.3 points per game. Wilson has shot 56.8% from the field and 78.6% from the free throw line in three games, totaling 61 points to lead Team USA to a perfect group phase record.
