Princess Kate’s younger sister married James Matthew on May 20, 2017, at St Mark’s Church in Englefield. The day was attended by family and friends, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte looking adorable as they acted as the pageboy and bridesmaid.

The Princess of Wales was her sister’s matron of honour, with Prince William and Prince Harry also among the guests. However, Meghan was nowhere to be seen at the ceremony, with royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claiming she had planned to attend the big day and even had her outfit picked out.

They claimed Pippa and her mum Carole Middleton were concerned Meghan’s presence may “overshadow the main event”. The former Suits star had just started dating Harry at the time of the wedding.
