All Elite Wrestling or AEW is WWE’s rival promotion. However, it has constantly failed to reach up to the standards of WWE. The Triple H-led promotion has always been on the top in the case of fanbase, ticket, and merchandise sales as compared to the Tony Khan-led promotion.

In addition to all that, AEW also has several top-level former WWE superstars. With that, fans have often wondered why AEW is constantly failing despite having famous ex-WWE stars. Now it seems, a 68-year-old WWE legend has an interesting theory for it.

The WWE legend is none other than Eric Bischoff. Recently, Bischoff spoke on his 83 Weeks podcast, that he said “I mean, how many times have we seen big names come from from WWE to AEW and people speculating about how it’s going to impact the business and what’s gonna happen and nothing happens? It doesn’t matter who you bring in there.”

Bischoff added that their audience continues to deteriorate day by day while WWE’s audience continues to grow. With that, the WWE Hall of Famer tried to explain why the Tony Khan-led promotion is failing despite its notable roster.

Bischoff said that the problem that AEW has is that they don’t know how to use the big Superstars to grow their business. The WWE legend added that the addition of big ex-WWE stars only grows their budget and not their business. With that, it now remains to be seen if Tony Khan will respond to what Bischoff said in the upcoming days.

Which famous WWE stars are currently a part of AEW?

AEW has a very eye-catching roster. While some of them are fresh new faces, the majority of the promotion’s roster consists of famous ex-WWE stars. This includes Chris Jericho, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Buddy Matthews, and Christian Cage among others.

Apart from them, a few months ago, now ex-WWE Superstar, Edge made his debut in AEW. It was thereafter revealed that the former WWE superstar had signed a full-time contract with the Tony Khan-led promotion. With that, now Edge goes by the name of Adam Copeland.

On the other hand, WWE legend Ric Flair also recently made his debut in AEW. Following that, it was noted that the former WWE Superstar had signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling. It is worth mentioning that Flair has immeasurable contributions to WWE. However, now he will be seen performing inside the AEW ring.

With that, now speculations are going on that former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks might soon make her AEW debut. However, nothing has been made official as of now. But, Sasha Banks joining AEW might prove to be a huge addition to the Tony Khan-led promotion.

Thus, these are the famous ex-WWE stars who are currently a part of AEW. With that, it now remains to be seen if Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Moné will indeed join. Also, it would be really interesting to see if AEW President Tony Khan will be able to use the former WWE Superstars in a big way going forward.
