Why Kim Kardashian was ‘scared out of my mind’ to speak to ex Kanye West about major parenting decision

Kim Kardashian revealed she was ‘scared out of my mind’ to tell her ex-husband Kanye West that she hired a ‘manny’ for their kids on Hulu’s The Kardashians.

The 42-year-old reality star was taking her seven-year-old son Saint, some of his best friends and their moms on a fun-filled soccer trip, with the first stop in London.

Kim was discussing in confession the struggles of being a single mom and how she wished she had a partner to ‘tap out’ with, which lead to her decision to hire a manny… though Kanye seemed to take the news in stride.

‘I do think that my household, and even in my family, it’s very female-dominated, and I recently hired a manny,’ Kim admitted in confession.

‘I really wanted a male around that was going to be picking them up and taking them to sports, and I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that,’ she said of West.

‘When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself, played two-on-two with Saint and him, has been so nice to him, saying, “Hey, if you’re gonna help raise my son…” cause he handed him the ball like really easily or something and he’s like, “Don’t do that. Make him go get it himself. These are some of the rules that I would want.” And I was like, Oh my God, OK. That’s great,’ Kim says in confession.

Kim and the moms are leading their boys through the arena, as Kim asks them who their favorite Arsenal player is, and they all say Saka.

While they’re walking through the arena, Saint is heard saying, ‘This is the worst day of my life,’ as Kim responds, ‘Oh stop it, Saint.’

They go in the suite as Kim tells him to get his jersey, as Kim explains in confession that she, ‘forgot Saint’s red Arsenal jersey that we specifically got for this trip, that, of course, I left at home. I’m the worst.’

Saint is still sulking in the suite, as Kim says, ‘Oh, buddy. Life is so tough,’ as Kim adds in confession, ‘It’s really hard for me to be really strict and to discipline a lot,’ while everyone is given a swag bag.

‘My parents weren’t strict at all, and sometimes, because I’m really busy, it would be amazing if I had a partner who would come in and tap me out and take over and handle it, you now, but it can’t happen like that.’

Kim mentions that the goalies are out on the field and the players are starting to come out, as Saint rushes down to get a closer look.

Kim takes a snap with all of the moms overlooking the pitch, and a snap with her and Saint, when they’re greeted by Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, who gives Kim a hug and shakes hands with the kids.

He gives them all red Arsenal jerseys and as Saint puts his on, Kim says in confession, ‘Finally, happy kids, and they also get to meet the Arsenal Gunners’ mascot – Gunnersaurus Rex.

Kim adds in confession, ‘This is all you want in life. You just want happy kids, you want everyone to be appreciative, that’s all I want and I feel I finally got it tonight.’

‘There is so much going on in my life. Still in school, my businesses that I’m running, but I will make all the time in the world to create memories with my babies and I know will mean the world to Saint,’ Kim adds in confession.

Kim tells the moms and the kids that, if Arsenal wins the match, they can go down and meet the players.

Back in confession, Kim adds, ‘I feel like North is like, lives her life like an only child, does her thing, then the two little ones (Chicago and Psalm) are a year apart, so they’re like twins almost and they’re always together. So Saint loves the little ones, would love North if she would hang out with them, but she won’t, so I wanna give him a little bit of attention. And he’s such a momma’s boy and I love it, and I know those years aren’t gonna last forever. Like it’s already he doesn’t like me to kiss him goodbye at school anymore, and he gets so embarrassed and he looks around and sees where his friends are and quickly hugs me and runs, so we’re already there.’

The boys and the moms all leave the suite, as one of the moms say it was a ‘good game… up until the end.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘It was such a good game, ugh, Arsenal lost, but tomorrow, I’m so excited to go sightseeing, to show them a little bit of London and have fun in a whole new place.’
