Will Smith made an ‘official statement’ in a hilarious social media video on Tuesday – amid his estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s numerous baffling reveals about their relationship.

The actress-turned-talk show host, 52, has been stirring up headlines with shocking reveals about her troubled marriage to Smith, 55 including that the two have been separated for the past seven years.

Men In Black star Smith made light of the controversy in a video captioned ‘OFFICIAL STATEMENT’ and said: ‘I got something for you, my opinion…’ before breaking off to sneeze.

As he sneezed the video comically zoomed out to show several different landscapes including mountains and lakes.

This comes after Smith enjoyed an excursion at sea on Sunday as he took to Instagram for the first time since estranged wife Jada revealed that they’ve been separated for seven years.

The star was seen riding in a boat days after his wife of 25 years spoke publicly about their marital estrangement; and he followed up Sunday with his own comments on the situation.

The Oscar-winning actor was seen sleeping in the cabin of the boat, with a voiceover that said, ‘Fun fact about me – I can take a nap almost anywhere,’ with the sound of multiple phone notifications going off simultaneously.

The Philadelphia native – who captioned the post, ‘Notifications off’ – was then seen on the deck of the boat smiling as the vessel buzzed along at sea.

Smith, in an email published Saturday in the New York Times, said that Pinkett Smith’s recent comments on their relationship were a wake-up call to him, adding that she was more ‘resilient, clever and compassionate’ than he’d realized.

The King Richard star told the paper in an email, ‘When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in.

‘And you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.’

She has even been dealing with distressed fans and social media users who have begged her to stop her tell-all tour and to cut down on the revelations about her marriage due to their distressing nature.

Her publicity tour has seen her discussing her response to her estranged husband Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on stage at the 2022 Academy Awards.

Though she emphasized in multiple interviews that she never told Will to respond to a joke Rock made about her buzzed hair — an attempt to hide the effects of her alopecia — she confusingly told Vanity Fair that the incident led her to recommit to marriage with Will.

Jada even called Will her ‘life partner’ and her ‘dude’ during a virtual appearance Monday night on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

But her complicated feelings about her husband — who remains a beloved star even after his shocking Oscars slap — have been disturbing fans and viewers of her interviews.

Several social media users spoke out in recent days on Twitter (recently renamed X) as they begged Jada to stop airing her family’s dirty laundry, especially as Will has largely remained silent about the revelations.

‘Good grief people can you all stop interviewing Jada Pinkett Smith now?’ moaned one user.

Another person joked, ‘How do we collectively unplug from Jada Pinkett Smith’s stream of consciousness[?]’

Others emphasized that they had never asked for all the sordid details about Jada and Will’s marriage.

‘I keep learning things about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage against my will. Make it stop,’ complained another user.

One account joked that they had muted anything about Jada and Will ‘forever’ with a screenshot from their Twitter account.

One particularly humorous post referenced the second season of Big Little Lies.

The poster wrote, ‘”Jada Pinkett Smith reveals in new interview that…”‘ and then showed a short clip of Nicole Kidman reacting in distress to Meryl Streep’s shocking scream from the HBO series.

Others wrote that they couldn’t even watch some of Jada’s movies thanks to her drama, with one user singling out the Matrix as a film that was now off limits.

Some users seemed genuinely angry at Jada, including one who singled out Jada for letting Will try to make her ‘happy’ for years, even though her ‘soulmate’ Tupac Shakur had been dead for over 20 years.

‘Jada Pinkett Smith is as evil as they come,’ the person added hyperbolically,’ adding, ‘When she’s done with this Will Smith humiliation tour, she will take 50Z% after the divorce.’

They added, ‘Pray for Will Smith.’

Another wrote that they wanted to block her from social media.

‘I do not care at alllllllll about her OR Will like pleaaaassseeee make it stop,’ they added.
