FILMING was brought to halt on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s latest movie because the WWE legend was TOO BIG to fit in a Porsche.

The former wrestling world champion is now one of the biggest names on the planet and the highest-earner in Hollywood.

Despite venturing onto the silverscreen, the 48-year-old Rock still continues to keep himself in superb physical condition and regularly posts workout clips onto his Instagram.

However, even his hugely-successful transition into movies has not been an entirely smooth process due to his huge 6ft 5in 260lb frame.

The Rock previously did not fit into a Ferrari LaFerrari while recording scenes for his hit TV show ‘Ballers’.

Now history has repeated himself during filming for his new Netflix flick Red Notice.

Rock revealed the news on Instagram with a lengthy post, explaining exactly what happened word for word.

He wrote: “Aaaaand guess who’s too big to fit in yet another sports car and now we have to change the entire shot sequence around.

“For our @netflix globe trotting heist movie, RED NOTICE, my writer/director @rawsonthurber (pictured here on the ground setting up the new camera angle) wrote this INSANE chase sequence where I hop in this iconic Porsche and be the bad ass behind the wheel that I am.

“Well, after months of prep and costs buying and shipping this car over to the states – it’s time to rehearse the big chase sequence.

“It goes as follows.

“Rawson: Hey D, let’s get you in the Porsche and I’ll line up the shot.

“DJ: Let’s do it.

“* DJ attempts to get into the car only to get stuck because his back is a bit too wide.

“Rawson: * laughs.

“* DJ continues to struggle trying to shimmy into this Porsche like a big ass brown marshmallow getting shoved into a coin slot.

“Rawson: Wait can you fit?

“DJ: No.

“*Rawson now nervously laughs.

“Rawson: Are you f***ing with me?

“DJ: No.

“Rawson: Oh my God.

“After about 15 seconds of uncomfortable silence… Rawson, myself and the entire crew just started laughing our asses off!!

“F*** it. Welcome to 2020.

“In the end we showed our agility to think quick on our feet and found “creative” ways to still get the shot.”

The Great One became one of the most recognisable faces on the planet during the WWE Attitude Era days in the 1990s.

He last competed in a six-second impromptu WWE match against Erick Rowan at WrestleMania 32 in what looked likely to be his last-ever bout.Johnson announced that he had quietly retired from wrestling last summer but has been recently linked with a return to face family member Roman Reigns.
