Ewa Swoboda, a Polish sprinter and Barbie model, went viral despite not clinching a medal in the 100-meter at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
A simple four-second video of the Polish Olympic sprinter set off alarm bells when she was seen stretching in a crouched position before her first 100m race at Stade de France in Paris.
When she spotted the camera, Swoboda gave a simple salute with her right hand to the vewers, but would suddenly come to her senses and corrected herself and saluted with her left hand.
The clip of Swoboda has become one of the most viewed videos on X, formerly Twitter, since the Olympics began.
One response to the post seemed to offer a proper explanation as right-handed salute is said to be reserved for the Polish military, while the left is simply to “say hello.”
