Every word that comes out of their mouth is a bomb for their opponent. The three icons have left no stone unturned in making Austin Theory’s life a living hell in the past few years. In a compilation video that surfaced on X, fans couldn’t stop noticing how the man under the hammer was always Austin Theory.
When Roman Reigns thrashed Austin Theory
Back in July 2022, Vince McMahon stepped down from his post following his hush money scandal investigations. During this time, Austin Theory had been the possessor of the WWE Money In The Bank briefcase. Soon after McMahon’s stepping down, The Bloodline kicked off Monday Night RAW when Theory decided to interfere.
However, The Tribal Chief held the place for a reason. He went ahead to thrash Theory, saying, “Your daddy is not here anymore,” referencing Vince McMahon. The audience too joined Reigns, and massive chants of “Daddy’s gone” started echoing in the arena. Austin seemed extremely upset by Roman Reigns‘ words but eventually had to submit it to the Head of The Table.
When John Cena bashed Austin Theory on live television
John Cena returned to WWE in March 2023 to lay the foundation for his match against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39. Walking towards the ring amidst a deafening crowd pop, Cena and Theory finally met. However, even Theory would not have expected what Cena had planned for the then-United States Champion.
John Cena bashed Austin Theory for his performance and professional wrestling career. Pointing to his abs, Cena said, “We all know you don’t have it here and we all know you don’t have it here (punching his crotch).” But he didn’t leave the ring before giving the audience a mic-drop moment. “W-w-w-w-w-wait, you really need to work on that last bit,” he said, leaving Austin Theory furious.
Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock left Austin Theory tongue-tied with his diss
Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson filled the entire WWE Universe with hearts full of joy when he made his way to the WWE ring at the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Yet again, Austin Theory was the man to be thrashed. Before Theory could claim himself better than The Rock, he shut Theory up.
“Shut your b*tch a** up. You clearly don’t know how all of this works,” said Dwayne Johnson. But Theory isn’t the man to give up this easily. He tried to come out as the better man, but the audience spoke for their most-awaited return. The Rock went out of the ring, but not before dropping Austin Theory flat in the ring with a SpineBuster and People’s Elbow.
Despite all the insults hurled at Austin Theory, segments with stars such as Roman Reigns, John Cena, and now Dwayne Johnson have given him much fame. The segments also earned him a match against John Cena at the Grandest Stage of Them All. As a newbie, what more can anyone expect than to face off against the top names in the ring? Austin has been able to attain this feat.
