Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky secured another win on Wednesday, as they defeated the Atlanta Dream by a score of 78-69.

Reese secured her 14th consecutive double-double in the win; extending her WNBA record-breaking streak.

Yet, Reese (who finished the game with 11 points and 13 rebounds) came extremely close to not scoring enough points to keep her streak alive.

In fact, if she wasn’t fouled during the game’s final possession, her streak would have ended.

And fans are accusing Reese and the Sky of stat-padding to that Reese could secure another double-double.

This appears to be proven by an X post that shows Reese drawing a foul in the game’s final moments.

“Angel Reese shameless stat padding to get a double-double,” the post wrote.

The post already had over 120,00 views in less than an hour.

“Yeah you can’t be doing this.. That’s disappointing to see,” one fan wrote in response.

“lol this the second time they purposely fouled Angel to keep the double double streak going,” added another upset fan.

“Reese calling for the ball with 10 seconds left up 9. I would not have passed it. Everyone else holds the ball there. That is the purest example of stay padding,” said another.

Not the best look for Reese. But her streaks stays alive.
