On his Instagram Stories, Owens doubled down on his belief that Biles is the gymnastics GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). While sharing a photo celebrating Biles’ latest victory, the NFL veteran captioned his post, “The best ever” along with a goat emoji. Simone Biles now owns seven gold medals, two silver and one bronze. Among all female gymnasts in history, she’s currently third in medal tally, behind Larisa Latynina who won 18 medals (πίne gold, five silver, four bronze) and Vera Caslavska with 11 (seven gold and four silver). Biles has two more events to compete in at the , so she has a chance to surpass Caslavska in the medal tally. As for Latynina, while breaking her record might be difficult, Biles can at least match her gold medal count.
